as a small 50 seater tea garden set high up in the trees
above the tropical gardens of Illovo Nursery.
Te original owners are still running the restaurant
after 15 years. It has now been upgraded to 120 seats,
with a wonderful deck extending over the gardens.

Open 7 days a week from 8am - 4.30pm

Service:
The Tea Garden serves breakfasts, light lunches &
a set daily meal. The Terrace Tea Garden also has an
excellent range of homemade cakes - are famous for their
lemon meringue, cheese cake etc.
The Terrace is also able to cater for
large group bookings, wedding receptions, and bike &
car club breakfasts runs etc.
The Terrace has built up a very good
local client base - regulars who have become friends
are still coming every week for the last 12/15 years.
Even the holiday makers keep coming back every year.
The Terrace has a liquor licence which
has increased sales and profitability. There is also
a possibility of building a bar counter and a possibility
to build a cold room and storeroom.
